I’ve worked in the tourism industry for a long time. Every once in awhile, you get a Fred. When I was a supervisor in the DR, I taught my staff about how the different nationalities can act. They laughed at me, and told me people do not act this bad. Two weeks later, they came back and told me “you were so right. People can be morons.”

I loved Lake Myvatn so this brought back great memories! I think I would have had some harsh words for Fred especially if he wanted my photos. Eek!

Fred sounds like quite a handful! I can’t believe he expected you to hand over your RAW photos. Did you end up giving him any of the smaller ones? I’m not sure I would’ve gone that far since it sounds like he planned to take credit for them. I’m sure he was envious of your photography skills – your photos are beautiful, Lannie!

wow I don’t think I like Fred at all, so rude and obnoxious by the sound of it. I just can’t believe the audacity of him asking for your photos and then saying they’re not big enough!!! Wow, just wow!
I am little intrigued about falling into a snow pit so may have to read that later on 🙂
