I loved chasing NL in Iceland! We never managed to see them without any clouds. That’s still my goal – see them clearly and vividly!

Seeing the Northern Lights is on my bucket list – I got a brief glimpse from a plane coming back from Lapland years ago but I want the full experience!

Great insight to help manage expectations when it comes to Northern Lights. We saw them a few times from our front yard when living in Vermont – we honestly didn’t know what they were the first time so jumped into our car and drove up the mountain to locate the source. 😂 Such an incredible experience that photos can’t quite capture.

When we were in Iceland in September there was reports of lights in the south but not where we were. Sadly we saw nothing. I think you did well to see what you did. Your photos came out excellent too.

Wow, it looks like you got lucky to see them twice! We were watching a Joanna Lumley documentary and she said that the lights are illusive and that many people miss out. Definitely bucket list level!
