In reply to carpe diem Eire. I usually don’t do tours either, but food tours are a really fun way to get to know a new place and a new cuisine! It’s a fun way to learn about a food culture too. If you do a food tour in the beginning of your trip, you’ll have restaurants to pick from through your trip! Plus sometimes discounts and other food recommendations. All wins in my book!

I’ve never been to Edinburgh…what a fabulous and adventurous food tour. I’m now kinda hungry so am wishing I had that charcuterie plate right about now (with the pickles!).
