We’re going to spend more time exploring the western islands next time we come and we had no idea about the passport. We totally agree with you about how friendly the people are. Scotland is our favorite country – a big part of that is our experiences with its people.

I love the idea of a passport to the various Scottish islands and ticking them off as you visit. The feature that recommends islands to you based on your specific interests is handy, especially for deciding where to visit on a trip to Scotland. Wonder if Hong Kong could do something like this for its islands as well….

I had no idea about this Scottish Islands Passport or the app but what a fun idea! I’d definitely be up for visiting these Scottish Isles. Also didn’t know you lived in Singapore, we love it there and visit as often as we can.

I’d so love to visit Scotland and its islands one fine day! The digital stamps are a great idea since most countries scan passports at entry and exit. I love the list of to-dos for each island and their categories.

Oooohh I forgot about this!! My phone at the moment is on the verge of death and I am getting a new phone for Christmas so seems like perfect timing to download this next week! I’ve actually got a mission to visit as many islands in Scotland as possible but I was never really sure how many to include on the final total, so this helps a lot!

What a wonderful, informative blog post! I’ve always enjoyed Caribbean island hopping, and the experiences available with the Scottish Islands Passport takes it to a new level. My visit to Scotland did not include seeing these islands, so using the passport would be like seeing Scotland with new eyes.

I love visiting islands too, and the Scottish ones seem more and more alluring (despite the weather). The passport sounds fun – I remember my first passport stamped all over and me being so proud of it.

What a cool and fun app! I love this idea as it helps people decide which islands to visit and makes it more interesting to track. I will definitely download and use on my next trip to Scotland! Oh and a potato festival sounds great!
