Even with the weather delay, this sounds like a near perfect evening. The bothy (I did not know this term) was so charming and cozy – I would love to huddle up there for a few days, especially with those luxury picnic baskets.

And there I was thinking the bagel and piece of bacon I was eating for breakfast was pretty good! If you hadn’t said at the beginning that this was an impromptu meal, no one would have know. It sounds like it was a great time!

This could easily be a very much needed getaway – staying under the radar and disconnect for awhile – a good book in hand, warm blankets, and a gourmet picnic dinner to awaken the creative juices for writing. #flyingbaguette

Now I have to look forward for the proper dinner at Inver post, but the picnic baskets seem like a pretty good alternative after all. I could use a disconnected evening with a gourmet in-house dinner now that I think about it.
