a journey experiencing all the world has to offer

My Travels

My friends know that I enjoy tracking the number of countries I’ve been to with emoji flags.ย  So far, I’ve been to 68.ย  Here they are, chronologically and in emoji flags.

When I tweeted the above, I had been to 47 countries.ย  New places include: ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ด๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡บ

Disclaimers: Includes Special Administrative Regions (e.g. Hong Kong and Macau), city-states (e.g. the Vatican, Singapore), and countries where sovereignty is not entirely agreed upon (Taiwan).ย  Eventually, I may change the way I count countries to align closer with the Travelers Century Club, which also takes into consideration geographical, political, or ethnological differences (for example, Alaska and Hawaii are considered separate from continental US).

On Twitter today, there was a tweet going around the #TravelTribe about arranging your “traveled to” countries alphabetically. I can’t say that I’ve honestly thought about that in the past, but here it is!
